Melia Braga Hotel & Spa, Braga

The hotel offers a great view of the cathedral on the hill from clean and comfortable rooms. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff and high-quality amenities. Despite requiring cabs to reach the main city, the location is fantastic with ample seating options and a poolside bar. The dining experience, featuring a large buffet selection, was fantastic, although the evening bar service was below standard. Overall, a lovely stay with a few minor drawbacks.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nicely furnished but too dark and close together. The lobby was spacious and welcoming, but some lighting improvements would be beneficial.

The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms lacked a hospitality tray, weren't ready before arrival, and were slippery, making sleep challenging in the heat. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh.

The dining experience was below standard, but the breakfast selection was varied and abundant. Overall, a comfortable stay with attentive service despite some minor inconveniences.
